Event Contract

Our Event Contract will specify all the details and terms of your function to ensure that every detail is addressed and your event is a complete success.

Guarantee (Number of Guests)

A final confirmation or guaranteed minimum number of guests and menu selections are required two weeks prior to the event.  This number will be considered the final count, and banquet charges will be made accordingly.  You may add guests to this count until the day before the event.  A guarantee of 100 people is required to book an event on Saturday night.

Reservation Deposits

A reservation deposit of 25% of the estimated function cost is due upon the completion of a signed Event Contract.  This deposit is applied to your final bill and becomes non-refundable 180 Days prior to your event. (Unless the date is rebooked)

Entertainment and Event Planning

Your event planner is welcome.  Please have your planner call us to coordinate schedules and event planning.

Decorations

Decorating with confetti or glitter is not permitted.  Decorations must be attached or hung with masking tape only please.  No open flames are permitted by order of the Fire Marshall.

Audio-Visual Equipment

Some audiovisual equipment is available for an additional charge – See rental-items price sheet.

Food Safety Policy

For the safety of our valued guests, it is the policy of Water’s Edge not to package leftover food from a buffet for individual guests to take home.

Liquor and Beverage Policy

All alcoholic beverages must be supplied and served by the party having the event.  For the safety of our valued guests, a security guard must be present at the event while alcohol is being consumed.  Water’s Edge will provide security for a fee of 25.00 per hour.

Banquet / Meeting Room Accommodations

All banquet prices will include custom room set-up and all applicable sales taxes and gratuities

Final Notes

Party holding the event shall be considered responsible for the conduct of their guests while in the Banquet Hall or on the premises of Lake Huron Campground, or for any liability or loss incurred by them to the Campground.

The management of The Water’s Edge Banquet & Conference Center is always available to assist you with planning your special event.  We can, upon request, provide a list of entertainment, florists, cake decorators, etc.
